Red Bull Down... Historics Coming...
The Red Bull MotoGP is behind us. The next BETA Event is next month... The Historics Race. This was my first BETA Event and I really enjoyed it. All of the cars in the race are either antiques or "antiques." That is... they are older model cars. More important, many of the spectators drive their own older cars to Laguna Seca. It is a sight to see as they parade into the parking lots. Bring your camera.

The 1st Gatekeeper's Soiree Geocache Hike
Thursday July 19, 2007
Participants: Beta 17A, Beta17, Beta18A, Beta18, Beta2 and Beta9.
Hike: Creekside Terrace, Hobo, Sandy Ridge, 25, 32, Eng Canyon, 27, 29, 31
This week's edition of the BETA Gatekeeper's Soiree was a Geocaching Hike. A good sized group met at Creekside Terrace and quickly dispatched the hidden in plain sight cache located there. While no newbies made it to the Soiree, a quick tally indicated that there were caches on each attending 'cachers Not Found Yet List. The group hiked a wide loop that reached the Eastern T36 Trailhead. Part of the trek included a new cache hide. ...and, that's all I'm saying. Except this begs the question nee challenge... who will claim the coveted FTF? (First To Find)
